Your games stay on your computer

Here is what LizzieYzy Next, the experimental GoAgent project and this website do with your data.

LizzieYzy Next

  • Games, analysis and settings are stored locally. The portable edition keeps them in the user-data folder next to the app; keep that folder when you upgrade.
  • The app collects no usage statistics and has no telemetry.
  • Automatic update checks and downloads are off by default. The app looks for a new version only when you choose Help → Check update.
  • A diagnostics bundle is created only when you export one. It is never uploaded automatically, and you decide whether to share it.
  • AI Commentary sign-ins and API keys are kept by your system: encrypted with DPAPI on Windows, in the Keychain on macOS, and in Secret Service on Linux.
  • The app goes online only for online features: fetching Fox games contacts Fox’s public service, and Remote Compute or AI Commentary send the necessary game data to the service you choose.

GoAgent (experimental)

  • The game library, student profiles, teacher sessions, analysis cache and settings are stored locally by default.
  • If you configure an LLM API, the board image, position summary, KataGo analysis and your question that a teacher task needs are sent to that service.
  • If you configure a custom TTS API, the text to be read aloud is sent to that service. The default Kokoro TTS runs offline on your computer and uploads nothing.

This website

  • goagent.top is a static website. It has no database, no game uploads and no ad-tracking scripts.
  • The download center only reads the public list of releases; installers come from download.goagent.top or GitHub.
